Sports

The University of Bradford Students’ Union has over 20 sports clubs to choose from. These include football, swimming and archery.

Joining a sports club is a great way to make friends while studying. Many of the clubs organise social events and nights out, and some of them even holiday together.

Even if you've never played the sport before, you're welcome to join a club's training sessions and give it a go.

Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic

Our Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic provides a full range of services to students, staff and the public within a teaching environment.

Second and final-year undergraduate students staff the clinics whilst under the supervision of experienced Physiotherapists and Sports Rehabilitators. This means that sessions have very reasonable rates to give everyone the opportunity to access them.

Eye clinic

Our Eye Clinic provides a full optometric service to students, staff and the public.

Like any opticians, the primary care clinic offers comprehensive eye examinations (sight tests). You'll have a detailed assessment of your eye health, screening for diseases that may affect the eyes and vision. If needed, you'll also get a prescription for glasses or contact lenses.

Eye tests take place in a teaching environment staffed by final-year undergraduates, supervised by Registered Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians or Orthoptists.

Find out more about our on-campus Eye Clinic. Free eye examinations are available to all our students.
